2025 Projections
2025 Fantasy Outlook
Lawrence is on the downturn of his career, though his demise was likely overstated by a foot injury that limited him to only four games in 2024. He'll look to get back on track after joining the Seahawks this season, his first time putting on anything other than a Cowboys' jersey during his storied career. Seattle boasts an exceptionally deep position group and edge and defensive end, meaning Lawrence almost certainly won't be asked to shoulder a workhorse workload as was the case with Dallas. Lawrence's per-snap production could rebound thanks to being fresher, but his days of strong fantasy production are very likely behind him. Read Past Outlooks
RANKS
Healthy to begin Seahawks tenure
Lawrence (foot) has been participating in OTAs, Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Lawrence made only a brief cameo along with some other key pieces on defense, but that's enough to indicate that the veteran pass rusher is no longer hampered by the foot injury that sidelined him after Week 4 of the 2024 season. The injury didn't deter Seattle from signing Lawrence to a three-year, $42 million contract in March.

No longer an elite defender off the edge, Lawrence has recorded at least 50 tackles in each of his last three full seasons, but he hasn't topped 6.5 sacks in any of them and hasn't reached double-digit sacks since 2018. That gives him a decent floor but a limited ceiling for IDP purposes. Micah Parsons remains the biggest pass-rush threat on the Cowboys, but the 32-year-old Lawrence should provide solid support in the final year of his current contract.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Wants to stay in Dallas
Lawrence is set to become a free agent this offseason but would prefer to re-sign with the Cowboys, Mac Engel of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports. "The ball is in their court. I'm not only going to play in Dallas," Lawrence said. "I'm going to have other options, but I'd like to stay here. It would be a glorious thing."
ANALYSIS
The 32-year-old edge rusher may have to accept a below-market deal to make that happen, however. Lawrence was healthy enough to play in only four games in 2024, although he did record 3.0 sacks in those contests. He hasn't produced double-digit sacks in a season since 2018, and if he does return it could be to act as a mentor for 2024 second-round pick Marshawn Kneeland.
