2025 Fantasy Outlook
Serving as a fill-in for Jordin Canada and Rhyne Howard, Jones started the first 24 games of the 2023 season and averaged 5.5 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.8 assists in 24.1 minutes per game. However, from Aug. 16 through Atlanta's playoff run, Jones played double-digit minutes only eight times over 18 contests and never saw more than 16 minutes in a game. The Dream made upgrades to their roster during the offseason, and Jones was left off the team's Opening Night roster. It seems likely that the No. 6 pick from the 2023 WNBA Draft will draw interest from other teams this year, but her fantasy upside could be limited. Read Past Outlooks

ANALYSIS
Jones caught an elbow to the face in the third quarter and exited to the locker room. However, the 24-year-old guard returned wearing a mask and should be good to go the rest of the way.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2024
2023
Jones finished her rookie campaign with averages of 3.7 points, 2.4 rebounds and 2.3 assists in 14.6 minutes per game across 40 appearances, including six straight starts early in 2023. During those starts, she averaged 6.5 points, 4.3 assists, 3.7 rebounds and 0.7 steals in 29.7 minutes per game. The rest of the season, Jones held an inconsistent role and struggled to generate fantasy production, though she did explode for 23 points (8-13 FG), six rebounds, five assists and two steals in 30 minutes during an Aug. 22 loss to Las Vegas. While the Dream may lose a couple of rotational players this offseason, they'll return Allisha Gray, Cheyenne Parker and Rhyne Howard, who figure to be Atlanta's primary producers. The Dream also acquired Jordin Canada ahead of the 2024 campaign, increasing Jones' competition for playing time. While Jones has an all-around skill set conducive to fantasy value, she isn't elite enough in any one category to be a must-roster player if operating as a reserve.
Jones was the first of two players selected by Atlanta in the first round of the 2023 WNBA Draft, later joined by Laeticia Amihere. Jones joins a backcourt that was much more open for minutes heading into 2022, but the Dream added some firepower in the form of Allisha Gray and Danielle Robinson via trade this offseason. While Jones doesn't sport a reliable shot from range, she can create opportunities for teammates (4.0 assists per game), score around the bucket and is lengthy enough to contribute on the boards (9.0 rebounds per game last season). The Dream will likely need to utilize smaller lineups when Jones is on the floor, given her shooting limitations, but she could be a candidate for some minutes if she can guard bigger opponents or wrestle away minutes from other backcourt options.
