Marquinhos News: Stalwart season in defense

Marquinhos started in 19 of his 22 appearances while notching two goals on eight shots in Ligue 1.

Marquinhos was back with PSG for a 12th season this campaign and finally reached the goal he was brought into the club for by winning a UCL final. That said, he would still see a starting role and was a mainstay per usual, missing a few matches here and there, but mainly in the starting XI. He remains on contract for a few more seasons and should continue in a starting role, although his best years are likely closing as he is now 31.
