Luke Shaw News: Another injury-marred season

Shaw was limited to 15 appearances (six starts) between the Premier League, the FA Cup and the UEFA Europa League in 2024/25.

The left-back spent most of the season on the sidelines and only played more than four games in a row toward the end of April and beginning of May. Shaw can be a valuable contributor for Manchester United when healthy, but that has been the biggest knock on him in the last few years. He figures to be a contributor on either the left wing-back or left center-back role in Ruben Amorim's 3-4-3 tactical scheme, but for that to happen, he needs to stay healthy on a consistent basis.
