Lucas Beraldo News: Role ramps up

Beraldo started in 22 of his 25 appearances while notching one goal on 12 shots in Ligue 1.

Beraldo saw nearly double as much time as he did last season, appearing in 25 games compared to 13 while notching around 2,000 minutes of play compared to his 1,000 minutes during the 2023/24 campaign. This is a good sign for the Brazilian, as he is only 21 and already shaping out a role, playing between left-back and center-back. That said, his role should only grow from here on out after a solid second year of a five-year deal, hopeful to possibly push for more of a starting role next season, although he will have to beat out Marquinhos and Willian Pacho.
