James Maddison Injury: Another productive campaign
Maddison scored nine goals and provided seven assists across 31 appearances (21 starts) in the Premier League.
Maddison put together a very productive campaign for Spurs, scoring nine goals and providing seven assists in 31 appearances (21 starts). He also scored three goals and recorded three assists in the Europa League. He suffered a knee injury on his final Europa League goal versus Glimt in the semifinal, an injury that cost him the final month of the season. That knee injury could prevent him from participating in the start of next season, but it's still too early to tell. When healthy, Maddison served as Spurs' key creative force, but he was also very clinical in front of goal, scoring his nine goals on just 39 shots, easily the best ratio of his career. Maddison is set to be the key to Spurs' attack again next season in not only the Premier League, but in his first Champions League campaign as well.
