It was a close, competitive bout throughout, but there's most certainly a case to be made that Holobaugh, as a +160 underdog, did enough to win each of the first two rounds. He was the more active and effective striker throughout before being planted to the mat by Hernandez nearly the entirety of Round 3. Kurt is nothing more than roster depth at age 38, but that doesn't make the decision any easier to swallow. Holobaugh has alternated wins and losses in four fights since starting his third stint with the company back in August 2023.
